IVOR NOVELLO BREAKFAST ROOM

Our impressive breakfast room allows guests to overlook the sea as they enjoy the most important meal of the day.

The Ivor Novello Breakfast Room features antique walnut panelling, stained glass windows and the splendid example of an ornately carved Victorian walnut fireplace with its original tiles. Of course, should you like to indulge and have your breakfast in your bedroom this can be arranged at reception for a small surcharge.

THE LANES HOTEL BREAKFAST is served daily from 8am-10am in our antique walnut panelled dining room.

NOEL COWARD’S LOUNGE

Guests can meet friends, take tea or simply watch the boats sail by while relaxing in the Noel Coward Lounge. This room boasts another authentic Victorian fireplace featuring it’s beautiful original tile surround. The room also maintains the original, unique cornices, covings and stained glass decorations.

The Noel Coward Lounge is named after one of the former residents of 70 Marine Parade – the famous English actor, playwright and composer Sir Noel Coward (1899-1973). A colourful character, Noel Coward was considered a close friend of Winston Churchill, Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, Judy Garland, Vivien Leigh, Marlene Dietrich and Ivor Novello.

And for that special Anniversary, Celebration or Birthday (or just because your enjoying yourself) we have a varied list of Sparkling Wines & Champagnes to suit all tastes & pockets!
